Thought I’d check out WordPress to try out the Automattic updates, just for fun. Spun up a site, imported 2500 posts, and now it’s toast. I guess that experiment is over.

On some of these dark and cooped up winter nights, I have too much time with my thoughts and memories. Tonight I was feeling nostalgic for the places I used to live, even though I know I’m better off with where I’m at now. Still, the present can feel so suffocating at times.

I've been trying to figure out a way include my kids' grandparents in my POSSE adventures since I will never pry Facebook from their hands. Every time I leave the site, I invariably get complaints about them wanting updates. This is pretty much the only reason I wish Threads would federate.

I need to research easy-to-use (and free/affordable) data visualization tools for web publications, particularly map data. Looking like maybe Leaflet with Mapbox.

Tech companies who use two-factor e-mail verifications where the numbers are visible directly from mobile banner notifications are doing god’s work. Few things are as unnecessarily annoying as having to click over to open the email to copy/paste.

Currently experiencing the complete meltdown of the Fred Meyer curbside grocery pickup system. Been here almost 2 hours waiting on a pickup that was already an hour delayed.
